Stepping out in the spirit of the holiday, Pia Toscano took to New York City's annual Columbus Day Parade earlier today (October 11).
Sure to get the more than 35,000 marchers in step, the "American Idol" beauty performed for the celebratory crowd as they lined the streets at the Fifth Avenue event.
Meant to honor those of Italian-American heritage, the voyage of Christopher Columbus and every background in between, the parade's proud grand marshal noted, "We would be nothing today without those people who came here with little more than the clothes on their back."
Adding to the fun-filled affair, Pia's performance was joined by the likes of "The Italian Fairy" musical and the marching bands of both Stony Brook University and Sacred Heart University.
